Maple: Hi Arbor! How are you?

Arbor: Hi Maple! I'm good. How about you?

Maple: I'm good too! I have news! I am going to be in Thailand for Christmas!

Arbor: Really? Wow! Thailand? That's so far! Why?

Maple: I want to travel. I love the beach and warm weather. It is going to be hot there!

Arbor: That sounds fun!

Maple: Oi Arbor! Como você está?

Arbor: Oi Maple! Eu tô bem. E você?

Maple: Eu tô bem também! Eu tenho novidades! Eu vou estar na Tailândia para o Natal.

Arbor: Sério? Uau! Tailândia? É muito longe! Por que?

Maple: Eu quero viajar. Eu amo praia e clima quente. Vai estar quente lá!

Arbor: Isso soa divertido!

Arbor: I am going to be in the UK with my family. It is going to be very cold!

Maple: Thailand will be hot and sunny. I will be at the beach on Christmas Day!

Arbor: That's very different. In the UK, it will be cold and maybe snowy. We are going to be inside, eating and watching movies.

Maple: That sounds nice too!

Arbor: Eu vou estar in Reino Unido com a minha família. Vai estar muito frio!

Maple: Tailândia estará quente e ensolarado. Eu estarei na praia no dia de Natal.

Arbor: Isso é muito diferente. No Reino Unido, Estará frio e talvez nevado. Vamos estar do lado de dentro, comendo e assistindo filmes.

Maple: Isso soa legal também!

Maple: Are there Christmas lights?

Arbor: Yes! The streets are going to be full of lights. The shops will be busy. People will be shopping and eating a lot!

Maple: In Thailand, people won't be celebrating Christmas like that. It isn't going to be a big holiday there.

Maple: Haverá luzes de Natal?

Arbor: Sim! As ruas estão cheias de luzes. As lojas estarão lotadas. Pessoas estarão fazendo compras e comendo muito!

Maple: Na Tailândia, pessoas não estarão comemorando o Natal desse jeito. Não vai ter um grande feriado lá.

Arbor: So there won't be Christmas trees or lights?

Maple: No, not really. Most people aren't going to be doing anything special. But I will be happy because I love traveling.

Arbor: That's great, Maple.

Arbor: Então, não haverá árvores de Natal ou luzes?

Maple: Não, na verdade. Maior parte das pessoas não vão estar fazendo nada de especial. Mas eu estarei feliz porque eu amo viajar.

Arbor: Isso é ótimo, Maple

Arbor: We are going to be in very different places, but we will both be happy.

Maple: Yes! You will be with your family, and I will be in the sun!

Arbor: Maybe next year, we will be in the same place for Christmas!

Maple: I hope so, Arbor! That will be amazing!

Arbor: Vamos estar em lugares muito diferentes, mas estaremos ambos felizes.

Maple: Sim! Você estará com a sua família, e eu estarei no sol!

Arbor: Talvez no próximo ano, nós estaremos no mesmo lugar paro o Natal.
